Go on the most epic, fantastic date with your love - but bring your photographer! Each love story is completely unique, so each couple's shoot should be, too! Do something just for you and yours to really tell who you are as a couple. When you personalize your session with activities, themes, or epic locations it makes it more... special and unique to just you.
Past examples to get your creative juices flowing..
Picnic
in the vineyard
They popped the bubbly, fed each other, and gazed deeply into one another's eyes. It had a dreamy, moody, romantic vibe.. set in a gorgeous location. The vineyard offered a variety of scenes for us to play out.
Motorcycle
at my venue
She wanted to be able to show off her hubby's bike, but wanted to make it steamy. Beautiful rays of golden light set the romantic tone for the photos. We took photos at my venue [pictured] and on a winding backroad along a river.
Homebodies
with kitchen snuggles
It's the mundane moments, lit with a spark, that make the day to day journey together. They asked for some couple photos in the kitchen after their family shoot in the living room. The smooches, coffee sips, and snuggles were ADORABLE. I highly recommend!
Puppy Play
in the meadow
This couple was sad their fur babies couldn't attend their recent wedding, so we included them in the photoshoot! They frolicked through fields, danced in the shade, and played at the beach. Well behaved pets are always welcome!
Anime Lovers
Get nerdy with it
This was actually a micro wedding, but I LOVED that they wanted to incorporate cosplay props in their photos. I recognized the swords and geeked out - Sword Art Online! I'd love if more couples did things like this!!
Minimalist
scenic backdrop
If you want the focus more on just the two of you, forego the props and opt for an outfit change or location that requires a hike instead. We'll rely on prompts and interaction between the two of you.
WHAT TO EXPECT if you're doing couple photos with me.
Couple photoshoots rely heavily on planning ahead of time if you're wanting something extraordinary. I'll send you a questionnaire to help outline your basic desire and really seek to understand your hobbies and what vibe you want to capture (playful, romantic, etc.). We'll go over the best place, time of day, props, style guidance, and your overall desire for the photoshoot. By the time you're in front of the camera, I will have a clear picture and can direct you two in the best of ways to accomplish the desired results.
Let's figure out what you two love together and we'll highlight it, as big or subtlety as you'd like.
